Lufthansa Technical Training partners with the AITC
25 November 2008
Lufthansa Technical Training (LTT) announced it has signed an agreement with Kangan Batman TAFE to offer high quality training for aircraft maintenance personnel in Australia, at an official ceremony held in Melbourne in November.
As the world's leading provider of basic and advanced training for employees and management working in maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), and the wider aerospace industry, LTT strives to strengthen its global training network.
With a presence already in Europe, Asia, North and South America, Australia is the fifth continent where customers will now find training premises of the LTT network.
Kangan Batman TAFE CEO Ray Griffiths said the new partnership will lead the way for industry and training to link together in the future.
"We've entered into a partnership with Lufthansa Technical Training to strengthen our commercial ties and create that essential link between training and industry," he said.
"This partnership will enable Kangan Batman TAFE to offer industry a one-stop-shop approach."
Chief Operating Officer of LTT Holger Beck echoed these sentiments, saying the partnership is an opportunity to continually improve the aviation industry.
"With Kangan Batman TAFE as partner, Lufthansa Technical Training takes the opportunity to offer its proven expertise right on the spot at the AITC,' he said.
"Based on our cooperation we can offer full-range maintenance training from vocational up to engineering level.
"Our customers based in Australia and the Pacific Rim will benefit from a broad, industry-driven product portfolio in combination with the most advanced training media and Lufthansa's vast airline and MRO experience."
